There are multiple ways to get involved with the Ontario Medical Students’ Association.
1. Become a VP External
Elections for VP External are run through your school’s Medical Society, and generally happen in Spring or Fall. Click HERE for a detailed description of the VP External role, or contact your school’s VP External for more information!
2. Run for an Executive Board position
Executive Elections are conducted at the Annual General Meeting, held in May each year. Keep an eye out on social media for when election nomination periods open!
Officially founded in May 1974 during the Ontario Medical Association’s AGM, the Student Section of the OMA was started using the acronym “OMSA” (short for Ontario Medical Students Association) in 2004.
