The OMSA Design Committee is a team within the Public Relations Portfolio that collaborates with groups and individuals across the OMSA to work on projects for graphic design and layout needs. Types of past work include but are not limited to: advertisements for events and programs, handbooks and guides, web updates, organization maps, and infographics. The OMSA, our teams, goals, and projects are always evolving. Since 2022-2023, the Design Committee has curated an archive called “Spotlight” to begin documenting and showcasing these wonderful changes. Please view our first issue below and check back periodically for future issues.
Officially founded in May 1974 during the Ontario Medical Association’s AGM, the Student Section of the OMA was started using the acronym “OMSA” (short for Ontario Medical Students Association) in 2004.
