There are multiple ways to get involved with the Ontario Medical Students’ Association.
Elections for VP External are run through your school’s Medical Society, and generally happen in Spring or Fall. Click HERE for a detailed description of the VP External role, or contact your school’s VP External for more information!
Executive elections are conducted at the Annual General Meeting which will be taking place on May 11th 2025. Nominate yourself by April 23rd 2025. For more information view the elections primer.
Officially founded in May 1974 during the Ontario Medical Association’s AGM, the Student Section of the OMA was started using the acronym “OMSA” (short for Ontario Medical Students Association) in 2004.
