CMA Student Ambassador Program

We have an exciting opportunity for you that you won’t want to miss. The Canadian Medical Association (CMA) is launching its inaugural Medical Student Ambassador Program and will be inviting 10 Ontario Medical students to take part, which happen during the CMA’s annual General Council (GC) meeting in Ottawa from Sunday, August 17 – Wednesday, August 20.

WE are the future.
Meds Class of 2017 will be known for nothing.
And no body will ever say,

Reflection on a Life: My First Palliative Care Experience

Last Friday I had the opportunity to meet a palliative care patient in the community. She was a soft-spoken elderly woman suffering from metastatic colon cancer. Her story was heartbreaking and made me think more deeply about how I will live my life to its fullest. The most disappointing surprise of that experience was that the visit ran as I expected it to.
