Leadership Summit & Annual General Meeting

Leadership Summit is a day of speakers and workshops where students will hear about leadership in medicine. This conference will help you learn more about your own leadership style and to network with your future colleagues. Investing in your leadership potential early in your medical career is one of the best decisions you can make. We are excited to have speakers discussing mental health, northern and rural medicine, social medicine and systems-level change for healthcare. Accommodations and travel are fully reimbursed to enable students to join us in Toronto.

On May 6, 2018 we will also be hosting our second Annual General Meeting (AGM) where we will have open forum discussions about medical student priorities and set the vision for the upcoming year. You can attend the AGM even if you are not selected as a delegate for Leadership Summit.

When: May 5-6, 2018

Where: OMA Offices, 150 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON

How to Apply:  All medical students in Ontario are encouraged to apply to attend the Leadership Summit by submitting a 300-500 word letter of interest on why you are interested in participating, as well as a curriculum vitae. Please leave out identifying information and current medical school from the letter of intent and CV.
