The Vitals team conveys their thanks and appreciation to ALL of the medical students who supported them in the first year of their initiative. For more about their project, visit their site.
There’s no other way to say it, this has been an incredible first year for Vitals. Since starting out as a small project working to help our classmates stay well at Schulich Medicine, we have been featured on CTV London, received over 385,000 votes to win the People’s Choice Award and place third in the provincial Mental Health 2.0 competition, and – most importantly – have helped students in need break down barriers connecting them with the resources they need. For all of this and more, Vitals would like to extend a big “thank-you” to the OMSA. From day one, the OMSA has had our backs – through the OMSA Innovator Grant, Mental Health 2.0 competition, and onwards. So to the OMSA and the thousands of people who lent us a hand along the way, thank-you. Be well, and don’t forget to check your Vitals!
Sincerely,
Your Vitals Team
