WE are the future.\r\nMeds Class of 2017 will be known for nothing.\r\nAnd no body will ever say,\r\nTogether, we stand for our community;\r\nThis, is a blatant lie. The truth is,\r\nwe have little enthusiasm & together, we have failed.\r\nThinking that\r\nAll of your opinions matter,\r\nIs a waste of time. And please know\r\nBecoming self-entitled physicians,\r\nIs what makes us such an incredible collective.\r\nBeing compassionate, honest and progressive,\r\nIs just plain foolish.\r\nForgetting about the hard work that brought us here,\r\nwill not be easy, but, we will definitely try.\r\nBringing out the best & brightest physicians,\r\nis something our medical schools won't do.\r\nGiving up easily,\r\nis how we will handle problems.\r\nHard work and communication,\r\nis a joke.\r\nI know that\r\nPeople think we can't change our generation's dynamics\u2026\r\nIt may be true,\r\nUnless, you give us a chance to turn things around\u2026<\/p>\r\n \r\n
This reflection is all about changing perspective and being cautious about jumping the gun on conclusions. From medical school so far, I have learned there are many different angles to consider when communicating with patients, staff and colleagues.
