The Leadership Summit and AGM is the foremost conference for medical student leaders across Ontario.
Leadership Summit
The Summit features speakers and workshops where students will hear about leadership in and out of medicine, and develop their own leadership styles. The Summit will also serve as an opportunity for delegates to socialize and network with their peers from across the province.
We are excited to announce that this year's Leadership Summit theme is "Pass the Mic: Leadership from One Generation to the Next". This year's conference will focus on how to be flexible and efficient leaders, even in the face of the unknown.
There will be a networking reception and social event on the evening of May 11th.
Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a forum for all medical students in Ontario to learn about OMSA's past work, pass the budget for the upcoming year, and participate in electing the 2024-2025 OMSA Executive Board.

Hotel Stay and Travel Details
Accommodation for out-of-town delegates will be provided for two nights (May 10th and 11th). In addition, delegates will be reimbursed for travel. Attending both the Leadership Summit and AGM is required for reimbursement. Details on booking travel and accommodations will be provided for all delegates once selected. Please note that students living within 20 minutes drive from the venue (Double Tree Hilton, 108 Chestnut Street) will not be eligible for hotel accommodations given their proximity to the event. Instead, transportation to and from the event will be provided.
The Leadership Summit is organized in close partnership with the Ontario Medical Association.
