OMSA EDID Priorities

The OMSA Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Decolonization (EDID) Committee is represented by students from medical schools across the province. We aim to promote the OMSA’s EDID priorities, create an inclusive environment for all Ontario medical students, and address issues they may experience related to EDID.

To better understand the EDID needs of medical students across the province we have released a needs assessment survey. The objective of this survey is to gain insight on EDID priorities from the perspective of medical students. This data will assist the OMSA in advocating for these priorities with medical students across Ontario, including in the development of a long-term strategic plan. Please be assured
that all the information provided in this survey will be kept confidential. Personally identifiable information and data collected in this study will be stored securely and will not be accessible to anyone outside of the OMSA team. Your responses will remain anonymous, i.e., your name will not be associated with the responses you provide.
