Waitlists seem to be the story of my life. Waitlisted for an earlier appointment, waitlisted to get into medical school, and of course, waitlisted for the Wellness retreat. But, when I finally received the offer via email the week of the retreat I didn't know what to make of it...

Considering that I don't respond very well to change and last minute plans, I was both excited and stressed.

Earlier this month, medical students from across Canada gathered in the nation’s capital to participate in the Canadian Federation of Medical Students' Lobby Day.  As they do every year, many Ontario students travelled to Ottawa to spend the weekend discussing health care policy, learning from talented peer speakers as well as leading physician advocates. A Poem about CaRMS... A Message from our Co-Chair

'Twas the night before CaRMS when all through the web,
Not a med student was sleeping, laptop glued to their head.
The letters were assigned to each program with care,
Knowing a program director soon would be there.

The students were pulling the hair from their head,
As CaRMS' faulty programming gave an "error message" again.

And "Where should I list this publication?" one asked,
"Who knows? Email CaRMS?! It's too late!" they all gasped.
